**MCSL is welcoming back its volunteers from 11 October 2021! The grounds are also open to the public, however, the office and information centre, workshops, venue hire and activities using indoor spaces will reopen from 1 November. To visit the site, visitors will need to check-in and show evidence of vaccination status. The Centre has updated its COVID Safety Plan in line with revised public health requirements & will restart its workshop program in November. We look forward to seeing people back at MCSL!**
MCSL is a registered charity and community-focused organisation that aspires to be a world-class education facility and model for the promotion of sustainable technology and living practices in homes, urban precincts and businesses.
The Centre educates on and demonstrates renewable energy production, energy and water efficiency, waste management and recycling, biodiversity through green space management and chemical-free vegetable production.
MCSL offers community education workshops, school excursions, pre-school programs, sustainable barista training, tours, venue hire and runs projects that build social capacity and empower individuals to practice sustainable lifestyles.
